Landaal Packaging Systems has set up the OCE Arizona 550 XT, a UV flatbed printer that allows it to handle short-run print request and offer better quality.
The model has 98" x 120" bed size and is the second digital printer Landaal has procured in as many years, along with which the firm has invested in its third cutting machine from the ProCut series by Zund.
Landaal Packaging Systems sales and operations planning manager Terry Choate observed that the graphic display marketplace was changing and the customers were opting for smaller order quantities.
"By offering cost efficient, high quality, digitally printed displays we are able to ensure that they get a positive return on investment regardless of the run size." added Choate.
The cutting machine by Zund is fitted with optical recognition system that enables Landaal to streamline the workflow from the printer to the cutter seamlessly on all production runs.
