Spring Health Solutions, a subsidiary of D Medical Industries, has signed a non-exclusive US distribution agreement with an undisclosed party for its Spring Universal Infusion Sets.
D Medical chief executive officer Efri Argaman said the new distribution agreement, signed in the US, will allow the company to bring the Spring Universal novel technology to even more people with diabetes across the US.
The company said the initial term agreement of two years will thereafter be automatically renewed for one-year periods, unless terminated by the parties.
The Spring Universal features hidden, auto-retractable needle, 360 degree connector, and smallest one-click, all-in-one inserter.
In case the base of the infusion set detaches from the user's body, by utilizing the Detach-Detect mechanism, it creates an occlusion alarm in an insulin pump which enables for continuously controlled and monitored insulin delivery, thus providing additional safety.
